About the Role
What you'll Do:
Alongside the marketing manager and design team, the digital content creator will:
- Produce interesting material for websites, blogs, emails, and social media platforms.
- Video and visual imagery will predominate in the content, with some copywriting skills needed mostly for short form material.
- Projects may involve filming or still photography of developments, as well as speaking with locals, businesspeople, and students; mixed-use, residential, and commercial property development projects;
- Content creation to inspire and involve businesses and students in the non-profit organization's ongoing projects
- Track and report on social media activity and channel performance
The ideal applicant should possess:
- Experience posting to, managing, and developing content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, and TikTok.
- Prior video production and editing experience, generally with an iPhone and gimbal for smaller projects and a specialist video company for larger ones.
- The capacity to capture visually appealing photographic pictures for social media, perform simple modifications in photoshop or a comparable programme, and then prepare the images for digital upload and sharing.
- Strong writing skills, typically for short-form social copy and comparable materials
- The ability to travel for work on occasion, being away for up to a few days at a time (for example, to development projects where content is created), is a must.
- Skilled with the Adobe Creative Suite
